The idea of Jack Wacker began on our local waters in Saskatchewan, it was a season with more and more pike strikes happening in areas that normally produce a majority of walleye.
It was common to hear from other anglers how the pike were destroying typical walleye spinner rigs. We personally pulled in pike that had broken spinner rigs still in tow, it makes you wonder how long those fish had to deal with that impediment.
We started looking for a trace that would be strong enough to handle everything the pike could throw at it, yet subtle enough to entice other fish.
It was because of the help of a small army of family and friends who tried and tested these spinner rigs that Jack Wacker was made at all. Throughout the season different bodies of water produced numerous different species, all with the same bait.
Our hook size allows for an easy and secure hook set which makes these rigs fun for kids. Jack Wacker was designed for recreational fishing, so ease off the drag and enjoy the fight.
